Have a 2009 F-150, 8200 miles. Gas nozzle keeps clicking off as if the tank were full. Have to very slowly gas up.

For fuel to enter the tank, air must be able to exit. There is a breather that runs along side the filler tube. Check to make sure it isn't damaged or plugged.
