When you drive at highway speed the truck is wandering... If I have to upgrade the suspension should I lift the truck a few inches and will that just make it worse

We only recommend direct fit replacement parts. Yes, lifting the vehicle will make it handle worse. As far as the wondering issue, have you checked steering components as well as the rack and pinion? Also, have you checked control arm bushings as well as other bushings?
