Terios drum rear brakes

Does my Terios 2009 4WD with rear drum brakes need brake adjustment or is it self-adjusting ?

Rear drum brakes are self adjusting. However if the handbrake cables are adjusted too tight, then the self adjusting mechanism would not work. Ensure you have some free travel of the handbrake lever.
