2009 Daihatsu Other Terios Side Play On Left Rear Shaft About 5 Mm Agent

i have a 2009 daihatsu terios. It has a side play on the left rear side shaft of about 5+mm. The agent recently replaced the diff.
Could it be that they made a fault in re-insalling the die shaft or is it normal as the agent said.

Do you mean the inner shaft has 5 mm side clearance?
