I have an 04 Chevy S10 Stepside with 130,000 miles if I do a complete transmission oil flush. Can I expect a transmission failure to occur. I have no visible cause to change the fluid. I just wanted to do an oil change.

just cdrop the oil pan and change oil and filter in it. it should take about 5 quarts. look in the pan for debris, not little metal shavings but large pieces of debris like 1/4" or more. ground metal in the pan is normal. Make sure to get eth filter hooked up right so you don't have trouble.
