So after a couple times I have to gun it to get out in traffic. The engine light will come on. I'll check the oil and there will be the tip of the stick. I'll add oil and the engine light will turn off. I've replaced the camshaft positioning sensor. It still happens, there's no oil in the water nor water in the oil. Where's and what is happening to the oil?

If there is no external leaks it must be going out the exhaust, do an oil consumption test and let me know what it is, do this after changing the oil and filter and use mineral based oil and see if the consumption drops.

Mineral oil meaning synthetic? Last time I got the oil changed I got full synthetic and still had the problem. Can I have a mechanic do this test?
