My traction control light turns on and a message says engine power was reduced. I pull over and find a leak towards the back of my engine possible near the dash. I couldn't tell if there was a color to it, but it smelled sweet. I don't have any money and need to find out what it is so I don't have to pay for them to hook my car up. Any help would be great. (air conditioner was running).

I do need to know what the code is as you can't second guess these faults, for the leak get a cooling system pressure test done, this is a very simple and quick test to locate any cooling system leak, if it smell sweet, it may well be an engine coolant leak.
