A whinning noise at start up

Chev. impala 2009 Thought it was transmission, but had it flushed. Seems to stop when foot taken off accelerator. What is it? whining when accelerating.

could be power steering pump low in fluid or worn vanes. remove the serp belt and see if the noise is still there.
