2009 Chevrolet Cobalt Ve Been Toying Idea Putting Aftermarket Cold Air Intake

I've been toying with the idea of putting an aftermarket cold air intake on my cobalt ls xfe. But in my reasearch I've found some people who say that it gives them good HP gains, and others have said that with the design of a lot of newer vehicles, its really pointless for an aftermarkat CAI because the stock one has been designed so that you already have the most efficiency you can have. I'd like to know, is a CAI worth the time and effort of instal or is it rather pointless for my car?
