Put it in drive will no go over twenty to twenty two mph even when gas petal is put to the floor. Put in neutral it revs up rpm's go up sounds good. Back in drive no rev no rpm's just twenty mph. Put in drive no gas it is jumpy lunging. Just started out of the blue. Transmission fluid is right on the mark. Had picture of engine light go on a while ago, was still running alright did not seem major little miss here and there but no big deal. Just something I have never dealt with.

Scan to see what code is logged. Sounds like a transmission problem.

Could I make a comment? If you have some type of posi-traction, that gives traction to each wheel, there should be a button on the dash or the glove compartment to deactivate the system. It is made to believe one of your tires is slipping in mud or snow and reduces engine power to get better traction. One tire size larger than the other on the traction wheels will also cause this. Trying to be helpful. Good luck.
