Can an ignition coil damage your spark plugs or do the spark plugs damage your ignition coil?

My ignition coil was burned due to spark plugs, I replaced both already.

The coil can't hurt the plugs.

Lack of sufficient spark from any cause can severely foul the plugs and require replacement
