running to lean code p0171

Keep getting code saying running to lean, had code saying o2 sensor bank 1. Replaced sensor. Now car hesitates on take-off and during acceleration.Kind of surging during acceleration. Checked for vacuum leaks, found none. Checked intake hose between MAF & Throttle body, everything tight. Cleaned MAF. Still getting P0171. All codes cleared but, car still surging during acceleration

Hello,

When the engine misfires it will produce a lean code due to the air that is released into the exhaust. I would start with new spark plugs to help that problem. Here is a could of guides that will help you.
