Aveo a/c clutch

2009 Aveo a/c clutch engages only briefly with long intervals in between engagements. Air blows cold but only briefly when clutch is engaged. Blows hot otherwise. System was just charged. Thanks

Were the system pressures checked or just a guess and charge done?

I assumed it was low on freon, so I added freon without checking pressures.

You will have to get the pressures checked, this is a major diagnostic tool for the A/C system.
