AC not working

If the AC clutch is engaging, it should be working. Have you checked the temperature blend air door to see if it is working properly? If it is stuck or not working, you may just be getting heat.

I just replaced the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and expansion valve on the A/C system. I pulled a vacuum for thirty minutes and it held tight. When trying to recharge, the compressor will not engage to pull coolant into the system. Could this be an electrical problem?

You must open the Freon valve and allow the Freon to enter the system, once a sufficient amount has entered the system will kick on so you can continue charging it.

My 2006 Chevrolet Aveo is running a little hot sometimes. The AC sometimes blows hot air. It is not overheating, just getting in the mid to high range on the temp gauge. The thermostat is ok and it has plenty of coolant. Not running completely hot, fluctuates. Blows cold air from the AC most of the time.

Check the coolant level and thermostat could be sticking-start here

Coolant is fine and so is the thermostat

Try bleeding the cooling system-could be air in it

Is it only running hot with the a\c on ?

I have a 2008 Chevy Aveo with 102,000 miles. The air conditioner will cool fine, and then, after driving for awhile, it will blow air but not very cool air. If I turn the air conditioner off for a little while and turn it back on, then it will blow cool air again. Also, condensation sometimes forms around the outside of the air conditioner vents. I was told that it needed a little freon so I had that replaced, but that didn't fix the problem.

The cooling coil is freezing up due to the thermostat being adjusted to maximum coldness and there must be air leaks into the cabin.

I took it to showroom also and at that time AC was working fine they just checked it and said all is ok but after going back a few kilometers it again went off. If we just play on with the AC button sometimes AC again starts working...but sometimes it does not start working...It gets very frustating as summer time is there and we are completely at the mercy of luck.

The air is not cooled although the Green light of AC button glows normally when the AC is switched on.

When its working is it cold ?

Not necessarily...As of now AC is not working even when it is cold and it may work even when it is hot..Its totally random...
Initially when the problem started it used to happen that the AC will go off sometimes during very long drive only and it will work perfectly when the engine is cold...Although I told this to the service people but they just said that the AC was ok because at that particular time when they checked it the AC was fine....

But now AC going off has become very frequent and it does not depend on whether the engine is cold or hot..its totally chance...
Further the Radiator was also changed recently so radiator is perfectly ok.... Radiator Theremostat was not changed during service as they didnt have a new thermostat at that time..but they adviced to change the same....The car was serviced around 1 month back and radiator was changed around 15 days back as the engine temperature was rising during long drive but that problem is solved now after radiator change......

When it stops working you need to see if there is voltage @ the ac clutch.

A.C. 2004 Chevy Aveo 4 ltr not blowing cold air A.C.compressor running not cycling on and off like low freon problem

1st step here is have the high and low pressure check could be low in refrigerant

I have problems with Aveo A/C, it doesn't work. I made diagnostic and I have error code 05. I checked sunload sensor resistance - sometimes it is with minus value, sometimes pluss value. This error shows only in morning hours, in daytime there is no error code (00), but A/C not working anyway. How can I know, is the sensor ok or not and I should looking deeper in electric system for fault?

Have freon charge checked first

Freon is ok.

Also high pressure switch is ok.
