Transmission compatibility

I am looking around online for a used transmission for my car listed above. I have seen a number of listings for used transmissions that say “Cadillac SRX/CTS transmission". Can a CTS transmission be used in an SRX? Thanks.

Good morning.

You need to have the numbers off the transmission identification tag to be sure you get the correct transmission.
