I have just bought this 530d M Sport from BMW and it seems to have a high frequency vibration running through the steering wheel and accelerator and brake pedals all the time the engine is running. It is noticible when stationary through the wheel when you put your fingertips against the wheel and when putting your foot on the pedals and when the car is moving again through both pedals. It is not extreme and there is no noise but is a constant vibration. It is my first diesel so I am not sure if this is just a characteristic or something is wrong with it. Can you provide any guidance?

Your experience is not at all uncommon. I believe the Diesels have a different "feel" to them and some adaptation is required
