I got a quart low indication at 50000 mile. I have the oil changed as directed by the on board computer recommendation which is usually around every 15000 miles. The dealer said that it is normal for the car to use a quart of oil between changes. Is this true?

I'm not sure what weight. It is a synthetic recommended by the dealer.

I wouldn't characterize it as "normal" but it's not unusual at all.
