I have excessive white smoke from exhaust on idle whether at start or in standing trafiic/lights. This is stinging on the eyes.
EGR has been checked and is ok. Injectors are ok - no misfiring.
I also get a whirring/whistling sound from engine area on acceleration

Please advise

If not leaky injector... worn camshaft lobes?

Check for fuel /diesel in oil.
