I'm wanting to change my air filter but can't find where it's located under the hood.

It's part of the engine cover most likely... post a picture of the engine bay and I'll tell you.

If it's an FSI, remove the plastic engine cover, flip it over, remove the air duct hose and spring clamp. Loosen up all the philips screw you see and seperate the covers.

2.5L samething, remove the cover and loosen all the philips.

TDI, will be on the drivers side, you will see the air-box, loosen the philips screws and seperate.
