Initially the Red Water warning light appeared for approximately 30 seconds and then went out, the fan then cam on along with the engine management warning light. The fan is now on continually along with the yellow engine management light. Could this be the Temperature control censer

It could be the sensor, a relay... Have the computer scanned to see what trouble codes are stored. They should point you in the direction of the problem.
