The car is a Toyota Scion which wasn't a choice when i picked model but it has a p0102 code and i replaced the MAF sensor and there's no change. i also checked for 5 volt reference and it checked out. Oh, by the way when i tried to erase code it would not go away. Stuck now and can't figure it out.

Hi,

I assume this is a Scion xD. It is the only one with the engine you provided.

The problem can be a few different things. The only way to determine where it is coming from is to follow a diagnostic flow chart and check one thing at a time.

The pics below are the diagnostics and pics related to the tests. Let me know if you are comfortable doing it.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
