low on oil frequently! while driving, engine remains running but vsc and check engine light comes on then car does not stay in drive gear? Checked oil level once I pulled over and showed very little to no oil. Put three quarts of oil in and drove fine for approx. half a mile then problems began all over again. Had to push car the rest of the way to home. Started up after resting awhile and car was driving again but am afraid it will continue to do the same. Any suggestions and could this be because of the low oil?
