YUK! the vents do unclip some have a screw on the flange end and some have a mounting bracket normally 1 10mm bolt, the vents are fairly flexible and should pop out easily, i would also drop out the fan motor, (3 bolts and the loom plug as they do get stuck in the van, like a giant super speed mouse wheel....
