fuel filter

could 2008 Suzuki xl7 fuel filter cleaned (open its cap and clean it ) and return back to the tank .

It is a sealed unit and such filters cannot be cleaned.

but when i look at the filter i see a cover and could be opened and its not sealed .

Sorry for the error.

The filter inside the housing is a disposible cartridge made of paper element and cannot be cleaned.
