2008 Subaru Impreza 35 Mile Commute Stop Traffic Lately Been Getting Poorer

I have a 35+ mile commute in stop and go traffic. Lately I have been getting poorer gas mielage (about 23 down from 25-26 average) and when the car is stopped in heavy traffic it vibrates hard. When I try to accelerate it hesitates, and yesterday and today the At Oil Temp warning light flashed very briefly (less than a second). Any thoughts?

Check the transmission fluid level and condition.
When was a tune-up last performed sparks plugs checked/replaced? Maybe it is due.
