saturn vue tire size issue

tire size difference between manufacturers? if i buy just 2 new tires for front from different manufacturer than current worn tires will this throw off my computer system and show a fault like ABS fail?

I have seen someone change the profile of one of the tires from what it came with stock and set off the traction and abs lights.If you use the stock tire size it came with you shouldnt have any issues.
