My engine is hitting some cover when I drive

When I am accelerating the engine makes a grinding noise like the fan blade is hitting metal. This has been going on for some time and my husband tells me that is the tire. Being the daughter of a mechanic I am quite sure that this is not the issue. Can you help? Could it possibly be the Fan Clutch or the Body Bushings?

Have the torque converter bolts checked to see if they are loose. The fans are electric so not the same as rwd. It could also be the harmonic balancer is hitting plastic shield, have it looked at.
