anti pollution faulty what does this mean and what does it involve to fix

my peugeot 207 is telling me the anti pollution is faulty just started today and the car is blowing a little white smoke with a little water coming out of the exhaust im worried as to what this can be

It has something to do with the emissions system. You need to have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from.
