Stuck door

Hi, I have an 08 Alitima Coupe and the drivers side door is stuck. It will not open from the inside or outside. How can I get it open to then take the door apart and fix it?

It's not going to be easy to do without damaging the door. somehow, you're going to have to go in through the window slot and manipulate the latch with something to get it open the first time. It may be tough.

Would the fact that the window goes down help me in that?

The window would have to go down. You wouldn't have a chance if it didn't.

Hi, I finally got to trying to open the door...I took the door apart from the inside and it turns out the actual lock or latch itself is jammed. I'm pulling the cables inside the door but it won't open. Is there any way of being able to open the door other than breaking the lock? How would a mechanic do it? Thanks

He would have to just try to find a way to release it. I seriously doubt you coul break it even if you tried.
