What is causing a bad vibration rattling like sound under the hood

I've changed the tensioner pulley assembly an it's still making the sound. Haven't changed the belt but I've been told even if I do change them the sound will be there still.

Best check the timing chain/chain tensioner and guides if its coming from behind the front engine cover

You should have replaced the belts first instead of the tensioner. Did you check the marker of the belt tensioner to see if it is within limits?
