My mitsubishi eclipse gt v6 2008, is making a squealing noise when the front wheels are turning. It is coming from the drive train directly underneath the car in the front, inbetween the left and right inner cv boot. Sounds like it is the Pillow Tripod Joint, could it be that the joint is shot and needs to be replaced, or could it be something else in that area?

i'd have to say it's probably the joint or axle shaft. have pro look at it because we can't actually hear it to give agood opinion.
