I have 60,500 miles on my 2008 MB C-300. This morning while driving to work about 5 miles into my commute, the car just died. Lost all acceleration and power in the pedal. The electical system still worked, but the engine is DEAD. Had to flatbed to repair shop. They are not an MB dealer - they wonder what to look at first. Timing belt?

A comp test to prove the valve train, fuel pressure test, spark and injector check and a diagnostic scan, if they are scratching their heads over this, get it to a dealer, they will know what to do.
