what causes a temperature symbol to blink on and off on a mercedes C300 2008. Also when it blinks on and off the AC blows warm air. Can u tell me what the cause on that? THANKS.

There will be a problem with the cooling system and this needs looking at asap, some models will shut down the A/C when temp rises to high, the A/C when on creates a good deal of heat at the condenser that the cooling system also must deal with so if over heat is triggered the a/c will shut down to help cooling.

The temperature light blinks on and off, But its not overheating. Could it be the Coolant temperature sensor.

if the temp is stable, I would run a diagnostic scan to see if there are any codes and get the live data looked at to see if the sensor is activating to early.
