my headlight warning light is on but it is not blown, what does this mean

Headlight warning light is on. Checked all lights and none were out.

That is to indicate that there is a burned out bulb. Recheck brake lights, both high and low beam, check signal lights, running lights, license plate lights... If all are good, something has to have shorted to turn the light on. You may want to check individual light bulb sockets.
