When I'm driving 70mph it's like my engine is cutting out. Kind of like hiccups.

Has the check engine light come on? When was the last tune up? Have you checked fuel pump pressure or fuel filter?

Hello,

There aren't any service lights on. I read where you shouldn't ever have to change the fuel filter on the land rover lr2. The car has not had a tune-up.

That is interesting considering there is dirt and contaminants in the fuel we purchase. All filters, if they are doing their job, get dirty. Regardless, since there is no check engine light, I feel the vehicle is running properly as far as sensors, computer controlled devices... Since the problem is happening at a high speed only, I would recommend checking fuel pump pressure to make sure it is within the manufacturer's specs. If it is low, it could cause this issue.
