Car cuts off

While driving the car the car will cut off. We did a tune up on it and it was fine for a day and then it cut off on me again today. When I start the car back it revs up to about 3000 rpm and then I apply gas and it is fine.

Hello,

This sounds like a classic crankshaft angle sensor which when they go bad cause this problem. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job:

You nailed it! I had this problem as well and after I changed the sensor the car has never run better. :)
