2008 Kia Rio Car Check Engine Light On Now Sputtering Motor Shakes Every Time

My car has its check engine light on now and is sputtering and the motor shakes every time the rpm drops as i left off the gas and stop. When I press on the gas from being stopped the motor shakes and doesn't start to move immediately as it usually does.
