How can my Jeep's clutch be shot at 4 years old and 44,000 miles. I have driven manual transmission vehicles for over 30 years !!

That is uncommon. It may have been a bad clutch since it was new.

Is it the clutch itself that bad or the hydraulics? What were the symptoms?
