I have had to replace an egr valve 3 times in the last year on my 2008 jeep grand cherokee. what can i do to avoid constantly replacing this valve?

Car bogs down and even stalls out. i have had it to the dealership 3 times in the last year and they continue to replace the egr valve. jeep works fine for a while but then it starts all over again. what can i do to correct it permanently?

there may be an issue with them failing that they have not addressed. i would try another dealer and ask them to find the reason why they are failing. First, I hope they haven't charged you for the repairs. That is an emissions item and is under warranty 100%. They need to fix the vehicle. It sounds emissions related and that is a 5 year or 50K mile warranty.
