Hyundai Verna diesel engine stopped working after a coolant leak? What could be the reason? The engine oil is giving out a burnt out odor? The engine stopped working while being driven at high speed, on inspection the coolant was found to have been leaking.

If coolant was leaking from a bad head gasket, that may be the cause. Check to confirm where the leak is.
