car unable to move forward or reverse after engaging gear

While driving on a highway, suddenly heard funny noise like vroom. Manange to drive slowly to the road shoulder to stop car and check the gear engagement, it was fine. proceed to engage in first,second n reverse gear the car did not move at all.

Sounds like something broke loose inside the transmission.I would do a transmission pressure test and check the transmission pan for debris metal etc.

Could there be any other damages; like the gear box, crankshaft or the clucth

Oh its a manual transmission your clutch probably wore out thats my best guess.
