My 08 hyundai elantra would not start up this morning, it would not even turn over. When I got inside this morning I noticed the dash lights and auto window lights and cigar light all flashing in unison. Is this the car telling me the battery is shot or something else?

The first thing i would do is have the battery charged and tested. You could have a bad battery do you have a multimeter to take a voltage reading on the battery? If not get that battery charged and tested.Let me know what you find.

The number of hours that a battery needs to charge is based on the number of amps the charger is. For example, if you have a 1 amp charger, you could let it go for a couple days and not hurt anything. If you have a 10 amp charger, 4 hours should do it.

Let me know if you have other questions.

I need you to check for an electrical draw. If there is one, remove one fuse at a time until the draw stops. Here are the directions for checking for a draw:

Let me know what you find.
