2008 Hummer H3 Car Had Power Steering Failure Shortly After Engine Shut Off

My car had a power steering failure, and shortly after the engine shut off. I pulled to the side of the road and put it in park, started it back up and everything worked again. what is the most probable cause of this, and should I get it looked at?
