I have a 2008 honda civic, but I dont know the where about of the key (i traveled and left the key at home with my family, when i came back and wanted to use the car, the key was nowhere to be found).
I have a spare but it does not have the button that opens the door from afar. The keys are RFID keys, if i replace the master key and i eventually find the one that was lost, will the lost one be able to start the car since the new one will be programmed to start the car.

If the new keys are reprogrammed to a new frequency, the oldkeys would not work. However if the keys are just add on to fill the spare slots for the original frequency, then the old keys can be reused.

There are companies out there like Keykarma.com who sell key tags with serial numbers on them in the event you lose your keys. I have a friend who lost his keys twice and got them back both times. It's $10, but that's a lot better than $300 for a new set of keys.
