Is installing NRG steering wheel kit dangerous and unsafe?

Is installing NRG steering wheel, with quick release hub lock kit, and quick release kit affect my safety when driving ? Will it affect the airbags?

You will have no airbag function at all, system will detect a fault and shut down SRS system you will get a check light that will not go away and in any case i feel that this will be an illegal modification to your car.
