the battery seem to be totally dead so have tried to jump start as well as to charge battery with a charger however when either one of these methods are connected up the panic horn keep honking and there is no indication that it is getting any thing from them since the dome light will not even light up. Any Ideas?

the battery in your car may be shorted not allowing a jump. try replacing the battery first
