pedal was very hard and no braking to wheels

After aprox 10 min of driving my 2008 FOCUS (1,6 gasoline) on a -5 celsius morning, I lost all brake assist. The pedal was very hard and no no braking to wheels. After seconds, it all went back to normal. Ever since (aprox 400 KM) my brakes are working very well even in lower temp days.Thank you in advance!

Here is the information you requested. Be sure to just move the brake master cylinder slightly out of the way so that you don't have to open a line and then have to bleed the brake system. I've attached picture steps below on how to change the power brake booster on your car. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
