Where would a bolt end up if it fell in the head?

While changeing the lifters a bolt fell in a hole in the head near the closest lifter to the cab of the truck, how can we get it out, from where and what damage can be caused if we can't find it?

can ya slide 1 a those pocket extension magnets down in there? or 1 a those flex cable pickers? if it's an oil drain hole probably no harm done. take some pics and post.
