What is causing this nois

I have a wineing nois comeing from under my drivers side battery. It comes and goes from crank to crank and is louder than the engine at idel.Other than that the truck runs and rides fine no problem. I bought it two days ago and the dealer will fix it if i can figure it out.

Why do YOU have to figure it out if the dealer is going to fix it? That would make it there job. For us to help you someone would have to identify the source of the noise and post a picture of it.
