Having what seems to be transmission problems. Or maybe censors. Twice I've have experienced the car loosing power. Each time my airbags light had came on and gauges stopped working. After turning the car off and letting it sit for at least 5 minutes, I was able to continue on my way. What could be the problem?

was the check engine light on?? codes???

have the trans scanned for codes as well.

It sounds like you had a power supply interruption somewhere. I would check all the power cable connections both at the battery and power distribution box.
